Fiuggi is a small town an hour away from Rome. This area is famous for Spa resources. Water from Fiuggi is also sold into shops, for its curative properties. In this way, you can enjoy all the benefits of a Spa, being free to visit the most amazing monuments of the old Rome.

If you are planning a trip with a car, the freeway will connect you to the capital in just one hour. Also if you are travelling with train, a connection is available about every hour. In just fifty minutes, you’ll be in the heart of Rome.

When in Fiuggi, we suggest you to have a trip around. This location has many others interesting things for you. Take a walk into the center ; there are lots of beautiful shops, surrounded by trees and fowers. In this area you could also try the famous “cucina ciociara”, a type of cuisine available only in the southern part of Lazio.

Some courses are really uncommon and can be eaten just here. For example, the famous Frascatelli alla Ciociara (a thick pasta made with mushrooms and tomatoes).

Near Fiuggi lies also the famous Abbazia di Collepardo. This old monastry, surrounded by nature, is a nice place for a visit, or just a picnic. Inside you can also buy products made by the monks. Hand-made chocolate, for example, or the famous “Gocce Imperiali” , a 90 grads alcoholic,mostly used to calm toot ache.
